Denim-junkies Unite

To commemorate their 10th Anniversary, iconic Japanese Denim maker Samurai has just released this 300 pair limited edition run of its S5000 jean. They are constructed of hefty 17 oz. raw/unwashed Japanese selvage denim dyed with natural indigo. They feature gold plated buttons and the rear patch is inlaid with real gold leaf. As you might expect, this high-end denim comes with a high-end price tag--$665.00! But I know that won't deter you hardcore denim fans out there, so head over to Blue In Green and get yours before they're gone.

And the Winner Is...

Now that 2008 is coming to a close, I wanted to take the time to acknowledge one of my favorite--and arguably one of the best-- albums of the year: The Foreign Exchange's Leave It All Behind. Rapper/Singer/Part time stand-up comedian, Phonte Coleman took time away from Little Brother to team up once again with producer extraordinaire Nicolay to bring us the much anticipated followup to 2004's Connected LP. The result? Sonic perfection on nearly every track. Don't believe me?...Head on over to the group's Myspace and check it out for yourself.

German Engineering at it's Finest

For those of you who were not affected by the global economic meltdown that was 2008, Mercedes and McLaren have teamed up once again to bring you one of the finest automobiles ever created. Allow me to present the all new 2009 McLaren SLR Stirling Moss. Equipped with a 650-hp supercharged 5.5-liter V8 wrapped in an all carbon-fiber shell, this monster will get you from 0-100km/h in just 3.5 seconds and all the way up to 217 mph. So for those of you out there with an extra €750,000 ($1m) lying around, you'd better get in line to pre-order one of the 75 that will be produced. For more pics and info, check out Autoblog.com.

Those Shoes...and the Wife!

Say what you will about the man, but David Beckham definitely knows how to come correct when he steps out. From the perfectly tailored suit down the handmade Italian oxfords...and oh yeah, it doesn't hurt to have your gorgeous --former Spice Girl -- wife in tow.
